Heatwave
Melbourne is experiencing a heatwave this week and it is causing people to do the strangest things. The public transport system is collapsing with over 200 train services cancelled yesterday and an equivalent amount expected today. Some guy allegedly threw a 5 yr girl off the Westgate Bridge. Blackouts abound. Tennis players are arguing. The media is touting fears of an Ash Wednesday repeat. The list could go on and on.....
I am safely tucked away in an air conditioned office, annoying my co-workers by giving frequent updates on the current temperature.
I am feeling somewhat motivated today. I have crossed 2 things off my list of 101 things and I am more than 3/4 of the way through ripping all my cds. Would like to be doing the bigger things on the list, but a start is a start.
To be honest the ideas of others have me more excited. GB's mum mentioned starting a business in France, which I think is the greatest idea she has had in years. My twin is talking about hopping in a camper and taking herself and her husband around Australia. My mum is going to New York in April to meet up with a friend she met on the internet. Makes me want to do something "big" and impulsive.....

#73 Plant more herbs in the tubs and use them in a dish I prepare
Not sure that lettuce qualifies as a herb - but we are going to count it Here are the pics. I picked some leaves of the lettuce to use in my Apple, Pear and Leek salad.
Chris also used some of these Chilli’s in his Manburgers the other day. Such a good feeling using stuff out of the garden. Has me thinking of perhaps putting a real vege garden in. But I also know that they are hard work…..not sure if I am up for that kind of responsibility just yet.

#35 See a therapist
I found my therapist by googling anger management and tried to pick a therapist based on the website and location (probably not the best criteria for choosing someone to help with ones mental health). After my two sessions I have been given a handy tool to help disconnect from my emotions and offered Hypnotherapy as an addition to the current sessions. I am done……for now.

brmmm brmmmm
It could be mid-life crisis time for me hehe. A middle-aged woman getting herself a little red bike....sure sounds like it.
I have been talking about getting a bike / my licence for many years now. And I had not done anything about it for such a long time it was turning into one of those "things" that people talk about but never do. Christmas was when I had my epiphany and decided no more just talking about things. When my 50 yr sister stated that she always wanted to be able to ride a bike and I said why don't you go for it..........and it seemed to me that her desire had now turned into a "would have liked" - A dream that was resigned. That is what got me motivated.
So look out for a picture and lots of rambles of how happy I am :)
