4
GB and I made it to our fourth anniversary. Not wedding. Kissing!
I know that it is kind of lame to mark the first kiss each year. But it really is just an excuse for me to plan a weekend / night away.
This year saw Yea get a look in on our map of Victorian towns we have slept (shagged) in. Not really sure what perverse motivation prompts me to keep records of that sort of thing. I just like doing it.
We stayed at The Peppercorn Hotel
Yea is a exactly what you would expect. Quaint. Most of the town was gathered at the Lawn Bowls, so I am assuming that the median age of the population is over 40.... GB and I plonked ourselves down at the Spotted Cow Bistro / Pub in the centre of the 'centre of town' and drank to our hearts were content. Which equates to about 4 beers. Soft. Then it was back to the "pepper" for wine and food (YUM!!)
Note: Creme Brulee - rates as the best so far.
The night ended with Terminator 2 on the tv and GB snoring and I started Sunday morning by consuming a whole block of cadbury's while waiting for GB to finally give up the incredibly comfy bed. He sleeps like a boy that has nothing on his mind. Quite bizzare! Then the awkward goodbye of saying thanks to people we were paying. I have never mastered the technique for being grateful for a service and not gushing like an idiot as I hand over hundreds of dollars.
We took the long way home to check out the Cheviot Railway Tunnel
